I tried the Vago Pinot Grigio in a restuarant while traveling and cannot locate it our local shops. I tried our Costco and local grocery but no luck. Any other ideas where I could find it.

Thanks

I am actually a wine buyer for a regional SuperMarket chain here in S.E. Louisiana (Rouses) and was presented with the VOGA only a few weeks ago. Thusfar, it's been a hit. We are seeing repeat sales, so I assume most folks are pleased with the 'juice'. My wife an I are fans of Pinot Grigios and we enjoyed the VOGA quite a lot. I think she may 'switch off' from the Maso Canali. I have also seen that VOGA is going to release a 'QUATTRO' four-red blend this Fall. Thanks........

Oh I've had that. Yeah, the packaging caught my eye, but it was the recommendation from the shop girl that really sold me on it, I was looking for pinot grigio anyway and wanted to try something new.

I really enjoyed it, by the way, well worth the price. I guess the packaging has an advantage if you don't finish the bottle, you can screw the lid back on. That feature didn't really apply to me, though. ;)

I too was walking through the wine section in a local grocery store when I happened upon this magnificent bottle of wine that stood out from all the rest. Vago Italia wine puts me in the mind of Voss bottled water from Norway that is basically packaged in the same cylinder shaped bottle. I think this bottle of wine will market well in popular clubs, resturants, and bistros because of its packaging design that attracts attention and the fact people are willing to try something new at least once.

I was also sucked in by the packaging. We drank this last night and enjoyed it. Very light and crisp wine.

Looks like you and I are torn opposite ways when it comes to packaging. Wine is not soft drinks and wine should stand on its own merit. I would never buy this out of spite for their marketing department. The more that a bottle looks like old Bordeaux the more likely I am to buy it.
