MERLOT? How dare he!
Tuesday, March 20th, 2007I love America. It’s a place where you are free to do whatever you want as long as you are not infringing on the rights of others.
Unfortunately, so many people (including many in power) feel like it is their right to live in a sanitized make-believe world where anything anyone deems “offensive” should be shut down by the government.
In Utah, evildoer Glen Eurick was finally exposed as an immoral serpent when someone finally turned him in to the state. He received a letter ordering him to remove his offensive license plate that had the devil’s word “MERLOT” on it. See, after 10 years of deceiving people that “merlot” could be the color of his car, or a kind of grape, it was finally discovered that “merlot” could also be used to mean, (warning, the next words may be offensive) WINE! AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE!!!
Oh my. What is wrong with this country? In particular, what is wrong with Utah? Maybe Jesus hated Merlot and this is specifically referring to Cabernet Sauvignon?
