Last Thirsty Thursday
Friday, August 31st, 2007Last night was the final Greensboro Grasshoppers “THIRSTY THURSDAY” of the season. $1 Natty Greens beers will be missed until next summer.
By minor league standards, last night’s game was awesome! The opposing team’s pitcher beamed the ‘Hoppers best player two times. The first time, it cleared the benches and there were a lot of threats. The second time cleared the benches and turned into a brawl.After an hour delay, the game resumed with police escorting batters one at a time from inside the stadium… no players were aloud in the dugout! In the mean time… we drank beer.
