Wednesday, October 31st, 2007If you are a microbrew fan AND a person who occasionally ends up at a grocery store, you’ve probably noticed Dales Pale Ale or Old Chub Scottish… 2 quality beers who stand out of the crowd by their packaging….. CANS!
And to top it off, the beer is mighty fine to drink.
Oskar Blues brewery’s idea is simple… there are times when you want a quality beer but can’t take glass (like the beach, a pool, public events, etc). Duhhh, put it in a can! And Voila, They’ve pretty much got the monopoly!
It also doesn’t hurt that a can keeps out 100% of the light (not good for beer). Best of all, it’s something different and some retro-hobo types (like myself) like the novelty of drinking from a can occasionally without having to suffer through an Old Milwaukee or Bud. Oskar Blues, thank you.
Great idea on the can, but what the hell were you thinking with the beer lip balm??
