The Twenty-first Amendment
Friday, December 5th, 200875 years ago today, the 21st Amendment to the constitution was ratified. This made the production, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages legal after 14 years of Prohibition. Roosevelt signed the amendment at 7pm, making it law, so that would be a great time to take a shot tonight in celebration.
